NAVSM is an association exclusively supporting voluntary services managers in England working within the Health and Social care services.

We provide training, best practices guidance and networking opportunities for managers to deliver a high quality and professional service to the volunteers they manage.

Study days are held in regions to help managers attend close to home and an annual conference is held for members to get together share ideas, talk though topical issues and form friendships with each other.

Working with volunteers is a unique but often frustrating position. You have to be aware of human resources issues, training, what the do’s and don'ts are and also liaise with professional nursing and management staff on the use of volunteers and how they can help.

We are here to point you in the right direction and will find a member who can help with your day to day problems or make sense of the often complicated national picture, Join us today and become a member, it will be great to have you on board.

NAVSM is democratically organized by its members on behalf of the general membership. It does not employ staff, or have a specific headquarters. It consists of regional groups and a National Executive Committee which co-ordinates and promotes the activities those groups.
